How they met

Kristin and Kyle met when they were both working at the Emergency Department at Albany Medical Center. She was a social worker, and he was a nurse in the psychiatric ER. Their personalities are just as complementary as their careers, and they have such amazing chemistry together. I photographed their engagement session at MLK Park and went back to Roc Holiday Village with them for photographs during both summer and winter! I’m so glad they planned these sessions with me because it gave us an opportunity to really get to know each other and find a good groove.

They were the most amazing couple. For their wedding, they were hoping to have it during a beautiful snowfall…and they got just what they wished for! The couple chose the Inn on Broadway because it was small and intimate. They wanted a venue that was cozy, welcoming but historic, romantic and vintage. They wanted to make sure that it could host a formal event yet also comfortable and relaxing enough to have fun and celebrate their sacrament of marriage.

First look

Kristin + Kyle chose to do their first look on the roof of the Inn on Broadway, which just so happened to include the perfect amount of snowfall. Check out that mesmerizingly beautiful backdrop! Kristin looked beautiful in her satin gown with a stunning train from SpyBaby Bridal-Syracuse. Her look was the epitome of classic beauty with a gorgeous updo thanks to Katie Shane Designs and makeup by Eva Jewel. She wore an awesome leather bomber jacket that Kyle had gifted her when they first started dating, which was such a perfect wardrobe choice and held sentimental value. He wore a velvet jacket from Men’s Wearhouse which was not only the perfect cold-weather choice but looked sharp and classic as well!

Their ceremony was held at Blessed Sacrament Church where they were surrounded by friends and family. After the ‘I Do’s, they took family photographs and finished with their first photographs as husband and wife. They then headed to the reception to celebrate with their guests. The space was decorated by beautiful centerpieces created by the bride’s mother, owner of Stueben Landscaping and Floral Central. The new Mr. & Mrs. cut their wedding cake by Inn on Broadway, and then CJ Sound kept the happy couple and their guests dancing the night away!

Kristin and Kyle, I hope that your big day was all that you could have hoped for and these photographs bring you joy for many years to come as you embark on your life together. Congratulations, Kristin and Kyle!
