FAQ
What’s your style and approach?
It’s a mix of photojournalism while also capturing classic moments of just the two of you. I know when to take a step back and photograph the events that are unfolding naturally. I also know how to wrangle large families and groups!
What is needed to reserve our wedding date?
I require a 30% retainer and a signed contract to reserve your wedding date.
What cameras do you use?
Canon professional. I always have backup equipment with me at every event.
Are you insured?
Yes
Can we see a full wedding gallery?
Of course! When you inquire I can email you galleries to view.
Can you help with a timeline recommendation?
Yes! I have photographed enough weddings that I can help plan an ideal timeline. Along with vendor recommendations and anything else you may need. Tell me who and what is most important to you on your wedding day. I always recommend taking 10-15 minutes from your evening and do a sunset session. This is a great time to take a breath. Look around. I truly enjoy each other for a few minutes.
How long after my wedding can I expect my images?
Approximately 2 weeks. I’m just as excited about your photos as you are!! I LOVE going through your photos knowing you’ll be just as thrilled to receive them.
Do you offer albums and large prints?
Yes! I am a huge believer in having tangible products. There is nothing like flipping through your wedding album with your children. Or showing off wall prints in your home. There is a huge difference in showing someone a photo on your phone vs seeing that 20×24 wall photo or gorgeous wedding album.

Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
Over the years I’ve learned it’s easier for me to approach the day and get genuine emotions when it’s just me. Family and guests do not pay attention to me as the day progresses when it’s just me. That being said, if you’re having 200+ guests or would like the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready before the wedding, you may always add a second photographer!! I have a setlist of professional second photographers that I work with as well.
Can I print my own photos?
You can choose to download your images as soon as you receive your gallery! They are not watermarked. You also have the ability to order prints through your private gallery. Photos not printed through your online gallery or me are not guaranteed. A professional lab will have the quality, color, clarity, and life unlike those printed at a consumer lab.
Where are your favorite places to photograph?
I don’t have just one! New locations intrigue me. I’m always up for trying somewhere new!
Have you been to my venue?
I have photographed numerous weddings from all around the area. If I’ve not been to a particular venue, I make it a point to arrive early and scout out your venue.
Do you have a formal education in photography?
I do! I have my BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
What if I live out of town?
I’m happy to FaceTime or chat on the phone!
What is your style?
In a few words, clean, modern, relaxed, colorful.
