Elopement at the Ellwanger Estate

They met in high school as 2 younger versions of themselves. Heather was “nudged” by a friend to make the first move and go talk to Richard. Now on their 14th year of being together, they came full circle and made it official.
Heather and Richard were married in front of their closest friends on what is their anniversary of when they first started dating. They decided to elope at the Ellwanger Estate because it was small, intimate and beautiful. The perfect venue for an elopement.
When Heather came down the stairs to Richard, every single person in that room had a huge smile on their face. Full of love and lots of laughing, they got hitched. They cut their cake (made by Heather, check it out below) with a truly unique dinosaur topper. I was able to photograph them all around the mansion and thankfully they were brave enough to go outside in the 20 degree snow…. definitely worth going outside in the freezing cold. It was the perfect Tuesday for getting married.
