How it began
This spectacular wedding had it all in the style department. Andea and Silvio are such a striking couple, and their personalities compliment each other so well! I had a wonderful time capturing their breathtaking wedding day and celebrating with them! Andea and Silvio met at the jazz festival seven years ago on the same weekend they were married!
romantic first look
For an air of romance and intimacy, they did their first look in the garden at Strathallan, a beautiful hotel that sits in Rochester’s cultural and historic district – a place as vibrant as this lovely couple. The garden is filled with large shade trees, lush lawns, and stunning blooms. After he turned around and admired his radiant bride, they spent some time relishing in the moment and strolling along the path before kicking off the rest of their wedding day. These are some of my favorite photos with the sun glowing on their blissful faces – they looked so in love!
I loved their wedding attire and their unique takes on the traditional white dress and black suit. She wore a beaded ivory gown, and the back of her dress was amazing! The straps and low back made for some stunning bridal portraits! He wore a subtle pinstripe suit with a soft pink tie and pocket square that matched her bouquet. They looked incredibly elegant together!
For their intimate ceremony, they were surrounded by just close friends and family. Afterward, everyone else joined them at their cocktail hour, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
One of my favorite things about this venue is that we’re able to do sunset photos of the newlyweds on the roof at the Strathallan. It’s so romantic and gives the couple a chance to get a breath of fresh air and relax together before joining the rest of their party for the celebration. Congratulations to this happy couple!
