Maggie + Jordan
the beginning…
Maggie and Jordan first met in college at SUNY Brockport. They both lived in the same dorm, but it wasn’t until they starting seeing each other a little more through a literature class during their freshman year that they realized there might be something more their friendship. They began dating in October, and by Thanksgiving break, they made it “official”. For their first date, they attended a “Midnight Movie” at their local theater and have since gone to many movie nights together. Now, you these two college sweethearts are husband and wife!

After Jordan popped the question, everything started to fall easily in place for their beautiful wedding day. They had both previously worked for Kathy, their caterer, years ago and she remained a close family friend since. She used to tell the two of them that one day she would cater their wedding. And sure enough, she had the opportunity. By the time they began planning the wedding, Kathy was promoting the magical The Wintergarden. After visiting the venue, they both knew it was a perfect fit for them. Everything was absolutely stunning! The floral arrangements and perfectly designed tables looked amazing, but it was even sweeter seeing the two of them surrounded by family and friends.
I loved how much appreciation and love they showed to their family while celebrating their marriage. Jordan’s Best Man was his grandfather, and his speech to his mom and grandparents was the sweetest. It reminded me so much of my own son and my parents’ relationship since they are super close. And instead of a Maid/Matron of Honor, Maggie asked her brother to be her “Man of Honor.” This family is all about making memories and valuing their time together, and it was such an honor to be able to capture all of those special moments and relationships for them through photography!
