Ventosa Vineyards Wedding | Finger Lakes Wedding Photographer
Elizabeth + Adam
Timing truly makes the moment. Elizabeth and Adam met their senior year of high school. They were in the same AP Economics class and didn’t even know it (most people aren’t on the lookout for their other half in the middle of a supply and demand lecture). But when they officially met in front of the warmth of a bonfire, a spark ignited. Their first date was to a varsity hockey game at the Lakeshore Arena on Valentine’s Day, and from that point, they never looked back.
Their first official encounter had an air of serendipity, reminiscent of a thrilling spin at the best payout online casinos.
A Stunning Pair
A few years later, they were ready to tie the knot. Elizabeth just started out as a vet, so they brought their two adorable rescues to their engagement session last fall! I can’t believe a year has already gone by since then, and it was amazing to finally capture their big day! She looked stunning in her elegant lace dress with a beaded neckline, and he certainly looked sharp in his burgundy bowtie and suit.
As a Finger Lakes wedding photographer, a well-thought design makes my heart sing. I loved all the rich fall colors. Their reception took place at Ventosa Vineyards, located on the shore of Seneca Lake, which looks gorgeous at this time of year. The sun even peeked through the clouds for a subtle sunset. Rachel Pasquarelli from In Bloom Florals matched the wedding colors and fall greenery flawlessly.
When asked why this venue spoke to them, they replied, “The moment we stepped into Ventosa we both knew. Adam wanted to have our reception by the water and I loved the Tuscan elements of the grounds and ballroom. You can’t beat the view of Seneca Lake looking out from the terrace.”
Their reception was a celebration to remember, and the huge smiles on their faces said it all. Even though they are high school sweethearts, Adam still managed to surprise his new bride at their reception with a honeymoon to Hawaii! I’m so excited for them! It was such a pleasure capturing all the little details of Elizabeth and Adam’s big day. They looked so very happy and in love. I wish them the very best in the years ahead!
