The Wilder Room | Anna + Andrew’s Mini Wedding
Rochester Wedding Photographer
Their Day
Their day started out at The Wilder Room in the bridal suite as Andrew prepped at their house not too far from the venue. We went onto do their first look at the Sunken Gardens in Highland Park. The crisp air and fall leaves formed the perfect Fall wedding day in October. Winnie, their rescue pup, was the flower girl adorned with her own flower wreath. She sat idly until the ceremony, where she bounced up for a treat every couple of minutes. It was beyond adorable. Andrew surprised Anna and picked her up to take her back down the aisle after their first kiss.
The Venue
Anna and Andrew chose The Wilder Room because they felt it was very unique and adored the large chandeliers. They loved the fun space, great location and adored the coordinator. I have to say, this was my first time at The Wilder Room and I 100% agree with everything they had already said. From the decor to the food, it was absolutely lovely from start to finish. We were so close to the Eastman Theater, we walked down to where their high school graduation photo had once been taken. Talk about full circle! Anna and Andrew were great as we went up and down the street, as the weather turning a little more brisk.
As the evening progressed, everyone enjoyed the amazing food from Avvino. Since things had been changing day to day with Covid, many of their guests viewed their first dance through Zoom. Her maid of honor who couldn’t make it also did a memorable speech through a Zoom call.
Though it wasn’t as expected when they first made plans, it was still perfect. And I can’t wait to do it all again next year!
