Stacey + Andrew
How they met
What a wild ride this couple have had on their journey to matrimony! Stacey and Andrew met in high school, but they never dated during that time. They even happened to be in the same prom limo together! They began hanging out in the summer between their sophomore and junior year of college and finally started dating after going on a classic dinner and a movie date at the Galleria Mall: The Cheesecake Factory and The Hangover.
In 2015, the couple found themselves back in Buffalo for a wedding, and they reconnected. Sparks flew again, so they gave the whole long distance thing a try for a year, then moved back to Buffalo and have been living together ever since. And here we are, cataloguing another milestone in their relationship: their wedding.
The Wedding
Stacey chose a rich blue as the main accent color. The bridesmaids wore lovely blue dresses from Morilee Madeline Gardner. After getting her and makeup done by Lox Salon, Stacey’s mother helped her into her beautiful lacy white gown from Maggie Sottero. After opening her wedding day gift, she grabbed her stunning bouquet by Pretty in Pink Flowers and headed outside for photos.
The couple loves nature, so the weeping willow was the perfect background for the family and wedding party portraits. It was so fun snapping photos of the bride with her bridesmaids and the groom with his groomsmen; their deep relationships with them really shone through by how much fun they were having savoring the moment.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom were sent off by a bubble exit, and then we were off for more pictures on the way to the reception venue: O’Brien’s Sleepy Hollow. We had such a fun time stopping at different iconic spots around Buffalo to grab unique photos! The reception had such a great laid back vibe by having games such as cornhole, but also touching details like the note tree and family memory photos. The thrill of the iphone casino games also added an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
After a super cute couple intro and first dance, the couple cut their cake by Sweet Beginnings Bakery…before shoving it into each other’s faces which set the mood for the rest of the evening! Their DJ, Jeremy Grodek, had the couple spending the rest of the evening dancing the night away with each other and their guests.
Congratulations, Stacey & Andrew!
