Sonnenberg Gardens Wedding : Michelle + Conor

Together is a wonderful place to be…

A couple weeks ago I headed to the Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua to photograph Michelle and Conor’s wedding. Throughout the day I followed them around and captured their candid moments of love and admiration for each other. There was no need to direct these two to pose. They were smiling and giggling with one another so often that it almost felt too easy. From the loving whispers to the genuine smiles that crept across their faces when stealing glances at each other—all true emotions that resulted in beautiful photographs I hope they cherish forever.

The ceremony reflected Michelle and Conor’s warm personalities. Michelle had the Sonnenberg Gardens set up so the chairs were in a circle (versus an aisle). This created an intimate environment where Michelle and Conor married under the tallit of Michelle’s father. It was a beautiful way to remember him on their special day. Michelle and Conor’s nieces and nephews also tossed flower petals around the bride and groom throughout the ceremony. The entire wedding was beautiful from beginning to end.

These two were such a fun couple to photograph. Seeing how they interacted was a beautiful testament to the love they have for each other. I couldn’t help but feel their joy throughout the day and I want to wish this beautiful couple all the love and happiness in the world.
