Cara + Emre
I have had the immense pleasure of seeing this couple blossom from excitedly engaged to blissfully married. I photographed their engagement session last fall and now their wedding, I feel as though I have had a unique position in witnessing their growth. Two hearts more deserving of love would be hard to find.
The Beginning of a Beautiful Story
Cara and Emre have such a fun love story. In 2012 (the night before Thanksgiving to be exact), they attended a night out with Cara’s brother Dylan, who is friends with Emre. Seeing as they were the only two “un-coupled” people in the group, a helpful friend (Dylan’s wife) quickly decided that Cara and Emre were officially dating for the night. Little did she know, she had just set them on the path that would ultimately lead to an altar.
While on a trip to California, Emre got down on one knee and popped the big question. After a little shock and a resounding, “yes!!” from Cara, the rest is, as they say, history! They were married at the Lakeshore Country Club which features an old-school bar that they instantly fell in love with. Seeing as their wedding was speakeasy/1920’s themed, it was the perfect fit. Cara made all the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and centerpieces herself! What a talented and beautiful bride she is!
I had so much fun getting to work with Cara and Emre once again and have nothing but best wishes for a happy life together! Congrats you two!!
