The beautiful Bat Mitzvah celebration had it all! I photographed her brother Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah last year, so I knew Carly’s would be just as amazing. Carly is the sweetest young lady, and I had a blast getting to know her and celebrating this special milestone with her as I documented the phenomenal details of the day.
A Special Day for a Special Young Lady
I was blown away by this momentous event! The theme was Club Carly, decked out in purple, silver, rhinestones, and disco balls. I took her photos over the summer, and they hung life-size over the lounge area of Club Carly. The Bar Mitzvah Boys provided amazing, never-ending entertainment. Friends and family danced and played games atop an LED dance floor, which mesmerized everyone from age five and beyond! After dinner, the kids sampled flavored cotton candy to keep their energy flowing. At the end of the night, the kids received donuts and personalized sweatpants for party favors.
glitz and glam
Among the glitz and glam of the party, the thing that stuck out to me the most was the love that filled the room. I loved watching how close Carly’s family is. Her brother and sister truly enjoyed celebrating this moment in their sister’s life. Carly’s friends looked genuinely happy for her and had so much fun just hanging out with her. The kids had fun just being kids, dancing around in their socks like no one was watching. I really enjoyed capturing the genuine happiness on everyone’s faces. Carly is clearly one special girl and well-deserving of this exceptional celebration!
