I love when I meet clients, and we click right away. When clients sharing their personalities with me, it just feels so easy to find a groove and capture the essence of who they are. Mitch and Lynn are like that. From our first meeting, they were just so warm and personable. They are the nicest, sweetest, up-for-anything couple.
Mitch and Lynn are getting married in August of this year at the New York Beer Project venue, a new brewery in Victor, NY . They are really into trying new craft beers. It was fitting a little symbolic to do their engagement session at a unique brewery as well. When they asked if we could do their engagement session at the brewery I jumped at the chance because I love new locations.
Young Lion Brewery
Young Lion Brewery is about one year old. It has amazing natural light and is great for a small wedding in their upstairs area. Plus, it’s right on Canandaigua Lake with an amazing view! I definitely recommend it to couples looking for something more laid back and intimate with a lakeside view!
After visiting the brewery and photographing them doing what they love, we walked around the lake for some more casual, candid photos. Lynn and Mitch have a special kind of love and look so happy and comfortable together—like they’re at home when they’re with each other. Out of all the photos, I think my favorite is the spontaneous photo of the two of them laughing together. It’s easy to see that it’s genuine, heartfelt laughter. I just love how it really portrays their relationship and easygoing personality.
I am looking forward to seeing them again in just a short few months for their big day! It’s going to be spectacular, and I am so happy for them!
