A couple weeks ago I was able to celebrate Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah from behind my lens. It was such an honor to capture images of a sacred event and also enjoy the celebration this tradition holds.
The ceremony was held at Temple Beth El where he recited his readings with great confidence. The following day the celebration began at the Double Tree. The celebration was put together with such incredible detail. Every decoration, from the table cards to the guitar case as a cardholder, had a purpose and jived well with Jacob’s favorite hobby: music.
The night consisted of speeches, games, treats, and amazing dance moves. The ambiance was fun and lively and all the attendees never left the dance floor. One of the highlights for me was watching as Jacob and his family members were hoisted into the air during the Hora. I had a blast capturing these images. I look forward to hearing of Jacob’s successes in the future.
