On May 6 we went back in time to the roarin’ twenties! Christina and Mitchell put together a glamorous Gatsby themed wedding and I still can’t get over the dresses–absolutely stunning. The best part was they went with the theme perfectly! The vintage beaded detail on the bride’s dress was timeless and elegant. While the bridesmaids dazzled in black dresses with geometric patterns (a popular trend from the twenties) of gold beading/sequins which were to die for!
Throughout the day I enjoyed capturing photos of Christina and Mitchell smiling and laughing with each other. There is no doubt that these two were made for one another. Once we were finished capturing formal photos we headed to the Hilton Garden Inn for the reception. During dinner, laughter continually filled the room as speeches were made, then DJ Joe Q got the party started and everyone hit the dance floor.
In the words of Jay Gatsby, “a little party never killed nobody,” and even though our abs might be a little sore from all the laughter that was shared on Christina and Mitchell’s wedding day I’d be ready to relive it in a heartbeat. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ragsdale! May you continue to make each other laugh and smile on the daily.
