Married on August 25th at The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. Vanessa was a bride with a vision. Her goal was to create a “sophisticated yet elegant” vibe for her wedding. Let me tell you, she nailed it!

the ceremony

The ceremony was sprinkled with traditional elements. Vanessa walked down the aisle wearing the most beautiful dress and stunning vintage crown. The crown had been passed down to her from her grandmother. Vanessa’s grandmother wore this special piece at her wedding in 1959. I loved learning the story about this family heirloom being passed down. What an incredible tradition to hold within a family. After the ceremony, everyone headed to the Marriott Syracuse Downtown for the reception. This venue paired perfectly with their ceremony venue. It fit perfectly with Vanessa’s vision of sophisticated, elegance. Every detail from the venue to the food that was chosen went so well together.

As the night came to an end I was able to grab the bride and groom and take them outside for a few shots. Vanessa twirled in Andrew’s arms as we captured our final shots together. The smiles on their faces were a pleasure to capture. Thank you both for choosing me for your special day.
