Natalie’s senior session

I almost don’t have the words to write this post—this session was indescribably meaningful to me personally. I first photographed Natalie when she was only a couple weeks old for a newborn session. Having just taken my first steps into fulfilling my dream to be a professional photographer—even before college! As she grew, so did my skills and experience. I have photographed her milestones and family throughout these 18 years! It’s mind-blowing to me that we are already here at her senior photos—I can’t believe she’s about to head off to college! So, to say that this sweet young lady and her family are special to me is a huge understatement.

A Beautiful Mind. A Genuine Heart.

That being said, I’ve gotten to know Natalie pretty well over the years. You know those people who you can tell just by looking at them – before they even say a word – they have warm, genuine hearts? Natalie is one of those people. This young woman is phenomenal. In these portraits, with very minimal posing, you can just see her heart through her smile and sparkling eyes. She’s the girl everyone wants to be friends with—because she’s such a great friend in return. She lights up a room and keeps you laughing. To top it off, she excels in school and competes on the Rush Henrietta swim team (am I sounding like a proud mom? I told you I adore this girl…)

 

Anyway, to make a long story short (and before I cry all over my keyboard), I present to you Miss Natalie, high school class of 2019! The world is your oyster, sweet friend. Go get ‘em—I know you’ll do wonderful things!
