They chose to rent an Airbnb tucked right across from the lake, where their closest friends and family—about 20 guests—could stay together all weekend. It wasn’t just about the wedding day itself, but about slowing down, sharing meals, laughing, and making memories together in one of the Finger Lakes’ most peaceful settings.
Marissa & Chris knew they wanted their day to feel low-key and relaxed. No rigid timelines, no formal fuss—just genuine moments with the people who matter most. They spent the morning getting ready together, savoring the calm before the ceremony. One of the sweetest moments was their first look, not with each other—but with their parents.
