Cobblestone Wedding Barn

Betsie + Mike
This was such a sweet wedding. Mike and Betsie were so wonderful to work with. They’re both genuine people with such a complementary relationship. They really do bring out the best in each other, and I loved capturing their affection for each other throughout the day, even in the quiet moments around the ceremony and reception. They chose the Cobblestone Wedding Barn venue because Betsie wanted something that fit her style and personality: a little country, a little party, and a whole lot of pretty. This rustic chic venue is surrounded by huge shade trees – just the place they were looking for! Inside the barn, hundreds of string lights cascaded down the natural wood beams – so beautiful and romantic!
All of the attire and décor coordinated perfectly with the theme. I loved their unique version of the guy’s suits: black on black. But they incorporated violet ties and summery sunflower boutonnieres for fun pops of color! They also used one of my favorite floral vendors, Geek Chic Flower Boutique, who specializes in alternative flowers. They look so realistic, plus they will last forever and serve as pretty mementos! (I’ve actually had a couple clients who ended up using them as home décor after the wedding!)
Betsie and Mike incorporated so many personal touches into their day to make it all their own. She is a Bills fan, and he’s a Jets fan, so they decorated the cake accordingly (plus, she added a Bills garter for fun). And they kept the sunflower theme going from their engagement. Just a few months ago I did their amazing sunset engagement session in a field full of bright sunflowers with Mike’s truck, so it was fitting that they would have sunflowers on their wedding day.
So much love for this amazing couple – congratulations Betsie and Mike!
