Erika and Andrew had planned on a downtown wedding. But after Covid, their plans had to change. Among the tall trees and gorgeous Summer sky they wed. It was the most romantic backyard wedding, shared with their closest family and friends. Rugs adorned the entrance as you moved from the ceremony site to the dinner area. Their first look with moms peeking from beyond the tree line. Their entire day was so heartfelt. I’d see them catching the others eye throughout the evening. The large backyard had the best hidden nooks. Beyond the ceremony site and pond was a chicken coop where they had frames hanging from the trees.
how they met
Andrew’s best friend from 8th grade introduced the pair. When heading out for their first time, Erika wasn’t familiar with Rochester, but knew there was a park off Culver – Cobbs Hill Park. They spent an hour walking around and looked out at the Rochester skyline that you could see from the top of the park. After, they went to Park Ave, stopping at Jines for dinner. They spent the next several hours walking around Rochester and talking until about 2 in the morning, and the rest is history.
