We had just spoken through email. It was great finally to meet Jamie and Greg in person. It was a gorgeous morning to capture their engagement session among the Spring blooms (It’s finally Spring here in Rochester). They are such a fun and truly happy couple. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next October at Belhurst Castle!

This family has been coming to me since their oldest daughter, was 4 months old! Jen is always up for anything and everything. With 3 littles under 6 years old, they were amazing! Their kids are just the cutest and well behaved:)

This may have been the cutest little birthday I’ve been to!!

Noah turned 2 last weekend and truly enjoyed his party at Small Fry Art Studio.  He painted everything. From the poster to his belly. Check out some of my favorite photos of this little guy’s big day!!

Senior Pictures | Rochester, New York

“And so the adventure begins…” -Unknown

It’s that time of year already?! You are finishing up your final semester of junior year and heading into your last summer as a high school student. It’s time to start scheduling your senior portrait session!

Getting your senior pictures done is an exciting experience! It’s your time to build a photo shoot that displays who you are. This year I am excited to be opening my schedule for more sessions.

There are a few things I would like you to consider when getting your pictures done to make it the best experience possible:

  1. The most important thing is to be you! Pick outfits that you love and places that resonate with you. This is your time to create a photo shoot that shows who you are and what you love. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in these shots and there is no better way than to be who you are.

  1. Keep it fun! If you have a friend, sibling, or furry companion that you would like to hop in a few pictures—bring them along! We want to capture memories in your photo session and if you have someone that has made a significant impact in your life let’s get them in a few pictures!

  1. Make-up and hair—this is something to consider. One thing I highly recommend is either stripping your nails of polish or getting them done. There is no doubt that the hands will be in a couple of photos and you don’t want chipped nail polish on display. Getting your hair and make-up professionally done is totally up to you. There are a few professionals I work with that will help you achieve a natural look that will have you looking and feeling fantastic.

If you are interested in scheduling your senior portrait session make sure to reach out and schedule it soon. We will decide on locations and other details you’d like to incorporate into your photo shoot. Your package will include an heirloom album and canvas—not just digitals! When you are ready to schedule your senior photo session just reach out and we can start collaborating on creating your dream photo shoot.

I absolutely love when my wedding clients come back to me year after year! I truly enjoy watching families grow and getting to know these (beyond) adorable kiddos! It was about -1 in Rochester this specific day. Thankfully we were able to warm up inside and get some great shots of these happy girls!

Colleen & Andrews Rustic Indoor Wedding | Rochester, New York

“Just when I think that it is impossible to love you any more you prove me wrong.” -Unknown

My September kicked off with a beautiful rustic wedding. Colleen and Andrew chose to get married at The Rochester Wedding Barn. The location was stunning. Everything from the ceremony to the reception hall was wonderfully decorated. As the owner of Punchy & Prim, Colleen did all of the invitaitons, décor and details herself. I really enjoy photographing a rustic wedding—especially when we get to take photographs outside. There is something that soothes the soul when you get to breathe in the fresh air while doing something you are passionate about. The outdoor photographs were so fun and the sky behind us was just perfect!

The day kicked off with Colleen & Andrew doing a first look.  They were both so excited to see each other.  The sweetest part was when their daughter, Harper, jumped into the photographs as well.  It was a beautiful day and this little family was a joy to photograph together.

After the first look we moved right to the ceremony where Colleen & Andrew’s daughter got everyone ready by walking down the aisle with the rings. It was so sweet to capture Andrew crouching down to encourage Harper to bring him the rings.

After they exchanged vows everyone moved to the reception area. Let me tell you about their cake…I know I get excited about the desserts a lot, but WOW! Gorgeous! And with that beautiful of a cake there had to be the traditional cake cutting. Andrew was relatively nice to Colleen—not getting too much cake on her face, and when he did he kindly wiped it off for her. True love.

The night finished off with some awesome dance moves and a beautiful sparkler send off. I had an incredible time photographing Colleen & Andrew’s beautiful wedding. day.

All the best to the beautiful couple.
