Megan + Kyle | Rochester, NY Wedding
“You will forever be my always.” –Unknown
How does the saying go—“the best relationships start out as friendships?”
…I’m pretty sure that’s how it goes, and I’m sure Megan and Kyle can attest to that saying.
This wonderful couple met in youth group when they were in middle school. Since they went to different schools their friendship grew slowly and continued through high school. It was during Megan’s senior year of college that they finally started dating!
Fast-forward to August 11, 2018—Megan + Kyle’s wedding day held at Webster Arboretum. Their wedding day was bright, whimsical, and reflected the easy-goingness of this wonderful couple. During the ceremony, Megan and Kyle exchanged their vows in front of family and friends underneath an arbor they made. The incredible craftiness paired with their color scheme, outdoor venue, and colorful flowers brought this air of happiness and excitement to the day. I guess the taco bar and ice cream truck could have added to the happiness level too, ha!
Thank you so much, Megan and Kyle, for letting me capture your wedding day. The love you two share is magic. I look forward to seeing where your wedding bucket list takes you in the future!

Laura + Griffin | Shadow Lake Wedding | Rochester, New York
“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” Audrey Hepburn
There is something special about an outdoor wedding ceremony during the summer in Rochester. I’m especially thankful I get to be outside enjoying these days while doing something I enjoy—capturing love from behind my lens.
Laura and Griffin celebrated their love in style! Their ceremony was held outdoors at Shadowlake. The location was stunning. Guests had a view of the couple exchanging their vows with the beautiful water as the backdrop. They were married by Griffin’s sister, which was so meaningful for both of them.
After the ceremony, everyone headed inside for the reception. Once dinner was complete the dance floor filled up quickly! I enjoyed watching everyone young and old show off their incredible dance moves. It was a night filled with love, laughter, and fun dance moves.
I feel so lucky I got to spend my day capturing such a beautiful, outdoor wedding on this perfect summer day. Thank you, Laura and Griffin, for being such a wonderful couple to work with.

Kari & Adam’s Outdoor Wedding | Rochester, New York
“When we have each other, we have everything.” -Unknown
I met Kari & Adam serendipitously when they met with their videographer who I share a space with. Their initial photographer fell through, but when we met, we clicked, I am thrilled I got the chance to work with this gorgeous couple. The wedding was beautiful, and since Kari & Adam each have kids it truly was the bridging of two families.
Kari and Adam had a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by a reception held at Abraham Lincoln Waterfront Lodge. As you know, when the bride and groom enter the reception for the first time most couples try to do it in style. Most couples tend to do this by choreographing a cute dance or by using a simple DJ announcement. Kari and Adam had another idea…they entered by boat! It was so unique and truly fit the feel of the wedding perfectly!
Kari and Adam’s wedding was filled with love. Their kids brought such a fun element. It will be a joy looking back on these photos to remember the smiles, dancing, and some of the cute mishaps.
I am so happy that our paths crossed, Kari and Adam. I had such a blast capturing your wedding day. May the years ahead of you be filled with love and happiness.

Lisa & James Get Hitched | Monroe Golf Club Pittsford, New York Wedding Photography
“Happiness is a moment with you.” –Unknown
I absolutely adore Lisa and James. I am so happy I was the one behind the lens capturing the day they became husband and wife. This beautiful couple tied the knot at St. Paul’s Church in Hilton, New York.
The day of Lisa and James’ wedding was an absolutely perfect summer day. We were able to take advantage of the wonderful sunshine and capture many formal photos outdoors. This wedding boasted a large wedding party. While taking their photos it was beautiful to see how much love this group of people had for one another.
Friends and family kicked off the reception at the Monroe Country Club in Pittsford while we were taking formal pictures. After we finished, we headed to the Country Club as well and took a few more shots. The style of the reception venue and the beautiful bridesmaid’s dresses went so elegantly together.
Once dinner was over and the music got a little louder the dance floor was the place to be! Dance moves and smiles filled the floor. After working up an appetite the cake was cut. It was a stunning cake, and I learned that the Premier Pastry was the baker, which is where I got my cake from when I got married! It was a little trip down memory lane for me.
As I was photographing this beautiful ceremony and reception I could feel every ounce of love that this group of people had for one another. I am forever grateful to have been a part of this family’s wedding day.
Congratulations Lisa and James! May the years before you be filled with joy as you build your new lives together.

Beth & Jerry Tie The Knot | Hermance Family Chapel, Wintergarden by Monroe’s Wedding, Rochester, New York Wedding Photography
“I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and all you’re yet to be.” -Unknown
Beth and Jerry brought their closest friends and family together, to the beautiful Hermance Family Chapel at St. John Fisher Chapel, to witness them tie the knot. It just so happens that Jerry is the architect of this very chapel. It was beautiful to see these two start their marriage at a location that is so meaningful.
After the wedding, everyone gathered at The Wintergarden by Monroe’s for the reception. Beth completely fell in love with this space. She described it as a beautiful indoor venue that feels like you are outdoors with its large windows, greenery, and the glass ceiling. As time passes you are able to watch the night sky take over through the glass ceiling. This completely transforms the mood of the venue from bright and airy to dark and romantic. It is truly magical.
Throughout the night guests enjoyed dancing to the band The Swooners. Guests also got to indulge in some delicious cake that Beth so cleverly used to display table numbers. As the night came to a close, guests didn’t leave empty-handed.
Last fall when I had a session with Beth and Jerry they included their two lovely dogs. The love they have for their dogs was brought to their wedding when guests could take a few treats home for their own fur babies too.
I had such a fun time photographing this wedding. Beth and Jerry are a beautiful couple inside and out. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
Congratulations Beth & Jerry!

Alice & Will’s Casa Larga Vineyard Wedding | Fairport, NY Wedding
Making memories with you is my favorite thing to do.
When it came to wedding planning for Alice and Will it was all about telling their story and choosing the elements that felt right. In order to tell their story, they decided to start their day at Alice’s parents’ house. It was the place she grew up and a place that holds so many memories. Now, it also holds the memory of where Alice and Will had their first look.
The story continued as everyone gathered at the church where Alice’s parents are members. It was a beautiful ceremony that told the story of Alice and Will’s journey as a couple. Once the ceremony had finished the wedding guests headed to Casa Larga Vineyard for the reception. Casa Larga is a beautiful indoor/outdoor space that Alice and Will fell in love with when they went to visit. The space was picture perfect. I love a good vineyard wedding…love + wine = the perfect pairing. 😉
At the reception, the guests danced to live music by Silver Arrow Band while indulging their sweet tooth on some cake from Wegmans and an incredible ice cream bar by Chapels.
Alice and Will’s wedding conveyed their love story brilliantly. I’m so happy I was able to capture their enduring smiles from behind my lens.

Rebecca and Chuck’s Wedding Day | Webster, New York Wedding
“True love stories never have endings.” –Richard Bach
Preparing for a wedding is a lot of work! Most couples are busy until the day of the wedding with last minute details. However, those little details tend to be my favorite part of wedding photography. I enjoy learning about my clients and seeing how the couple incorporates their story into their special day.
A couple weeks ago I got to reunite with Rebecca and Chuck. A little over a year ago I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement session with their two dogs. I loved getting their fur babies involved in their engagement photos. This time around I got to capture more of Rebecca and Chuck’s life story.
These two held their wedding at the beautiful Webster Golf Club. The wedding party was transported by school bus from venue to venue. It was a cute way to incorporate Rebecca’s true passion for teaching into their special day. I really love seeing the little details come together. One of the most memorable moments from this day was watching Rebecca’s bride tribe become overwhelmed with excitement when they saw her standing in her dress for the first time.
With the love and support that I witnessed from family and friends at Rebecca and Chuck’s wedding, I know their bond and love will only grow stronger and stronger.
Thank you for letting me capture these milestones for you, Rebecca and Chuck!
