Laura & Erik Tie the Knot at the Wintergarden by Monroe’s Wedding
To love, laughter, and happily ever after…
The day of Laura & Erik’s wedding was an exceptional day for a spring wedding in Rochester,New York! Everything came together with such an elegant touch and was beautifully brought together by the color scheme, the flowers, her Jimmy Choo shoes, and the wonderful choice of venues. Since they are both working out of state all of the planning was done from afar. It just goes to show that with an eye for detail and a vision in mind you can create a beautiful wedding.
This beautiful couple looked absolutely smitten when they first laid eyes on each other. Surrounded by friends and family at St. Rita’s Church they said, “I do.” Throughout the day Laura & Erik shared smiles and laughter. The warmth and love they have for each other radiated throughout the ceremony and carried over into the reception.
Walking into Laura & Erik’s reception at The Wintergarden by Monroe’s was breathtaking. The light and airy feel of the wedding transferred over into the reception hall beautifully. During cocktail hour there was a harpist playing upstairs stationed above the dance floor. This only added to the whimsical feel of the entire day.
After dinner, the party really got started when Steve Turner turned up the music and everyone hit the dance floor. The beautiful bride also threw on the headphones and spun some tracks for her friends and family! Smiles, twirls, and downright amazing dance moves filled the night.
Here is to the new Mr. and Mrs. Bolzner ! May your lives be filled with endless laughs and new adventures together.

Happy Birthday Mason Joseph
“May your day be touched with a bit of Irish Luck, brightened by a song in your heart, and warmed with smiles by the people you love” –Irish Toast
The luck of the Irish was surely at play on St. Patrick’s Day for one incredible family. On March 17th Maggie & Joe welcomed their son, Mason Joseph, to the world at 4:35AM. Mason was actually planned to be delivered just a few days later, but clearly he was meant to join his family on St. Patrick’s Day. This little charm weighed in at 7lbs, 14oz and stretched 20.5” long.
This little miracle stole everyone’s heart from the moment he entered the world. The doctors and nurses were absolutely taken by his alertness and personality. The moment that mom held Mason in her arms was one I will always remember. Seeing Maggie’s joyful smile and Mason snuggling in his mother’s warm embrace just touched my heart. Now, you have to understand, I’ve known this couple for quite a while—I have photographed their engagement, wedding, maternity, and now the birth of their son and each of these milestones have been joyous days. However, photographing their first moments with Mason was by far the most heart-warming. The look on Joe’s face while holding Mason for the first time was one filled with unconditional love. As dad was cradling Mason in his arms, Mason looked up at him with this look of curiosity and contentment as he wrapped his little hand around dad’s finger. My heart was filled with pure joy while capturing their first bonding moment from behind my lens.
I’m still captivated by Mason’s sweet tenderness as I look back on the photos I have taken. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day Maggie & Joe. Best wishes to you on this wonderful family journey.
When I met Amy & Jack for their engagement session last Spring I knew they would have an amazing Winter wedding!! They are one of the nicest couples I have ever worked with.
Their ceremony was at Sacred Heart Cathedral downtown. With just about all seats full, it was such a sweet ceremony. You could see the love and admiration from both of them. After the ceremony we went onto the County Clerk building for some indoor photos, before heading over to the Liberty Pole. It was snowy and slushy but in the end, it was definitely worth it! Their reception was held at Midvale Country Club in Penfield. After dinner, Amy and Jack were surrounded by friends and family singing a traditional Polish song.
Form the details of her dress to the reception, everything was perfect.
Alicia and Jamie were married on a chilly December day. They were great out in the cold with their wedding party. After their ceremony we went over to the Avanti in Buffalo, NY where the dance floor stayed packed until late in the night.
Emily and Mark were married on a mild day in November. I had a great time photographing their engagement session in the Summer so I knew this would be just as much fun.
There was still some Fall color left which made for a gorgeous backdrop. Their church ceremony had the cutest flower girl, their adorable dog. Their reception was at The Rapids Theater in Niagara Falls. I had never been to the Rapids Theater before. It was such an amazing space!!
Thank you to Mandra @Mandra Jean Photography for second shooting this wedding.
Mandy and Jon were married at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo. It was a beautiful but windy Fall day. Even with the wind, Mandy & Jon were set on doing their photos outside with all of the gorgeous foliage on the homestead. I’m so glad they did!! It definitely paid off.
After the ceremony and cocktail hour, the reception started in the tent with Nik and the Nice guys getting everyone on the dance floor. It was such an intimate day celebrated with their friends family.
Congrats Mandy & Jon!
Thank you to Diana Kapatos for second shooting this wedding with me.
Chris & Ashley were married on a rainy day at The Lodge at Welch Allyn. But rain is good luck;) And Ashley & Chris decided to do their first look at a local green house. Which proved to be a perfect backdrop and light for their photos!
After their family photos finished up we went to the Lodge at Welch Allyn for their gorgeous ceremony. Along with their high energy dance reception. Ashley & Chris were such troopers. We did a quick sparkler exit in the rain. Which proved to turn out gorgeous.
Thank you to my second photographer for the day, Diana at Diana Kapatos Photography!
“If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.” –Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
From old-fashioned newspaper programs to beautiful crystal glass party favors, this chic, vintage bride didn’t miss a single detail. I still can’t get over Melissa bouquet’s—the sprinkle of vintage broaches amongst the flowers was a beautiful and intimate touch that photographed well if I do say so myself! 😉
Melissa and Thomas’ wedding started at Hope Lutheran Church . I was so happy to catch Thomas’ smile sweeping across his face as his bride, Melissa, entered the room wearing the most stunning wedding dress with her father by her side. These two romantics had smiles across their faces for the entire ceremony. While witnessing these two getting married, you could feel the love between them. The way they snuck glances at each other and grinned, and the way their eyes lit up as they embraced—it was hard to look away from the stunning couple.
The reception was held at Belhurst Castle, which proved to be the perfect venue to host such an elegant wedding. Everyone was greeted with Popsicle champagne (yes, please!), and dinner was followed by the most beautiful of cakes, by Sinful Sweets.
As the sun set over Finger Lake the sky broke out into hues of pink that perfectly painted the romance of the evening.
Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs Venniro.
